Whilst ANGLE ZED is a relatively new prefix, our involvement with Droughtmasters commenced some 30 years ago as commercial breeders and since 1994 as a partner in the Orana Stud (prefix later changed to Durack).

The ANGLE ZED Droughtmasters graze the EU accredited properties of "Durack" and "Somerset" in the Dawson / Don River watersheds east of Baralaba, Qld. The Registered Herd is complemented and benchmarked by a commercial herd with all progeny fattened to EU specifications.

"Durack" is located 50klms south of the Capricorn Highway and 19klm west of the Leichardt Highway being within an hours drive of Duaringa, Biloela and Moura. Visitors are most welcome.

A couple of hours in the paddock with friends "chewing the fat" over a mob of Droughties is the best way we know "to smell the roses"
